Our Flow, Our Power: Reproductive Health Summit

In partnership with Thrive NJ, sponsored by The Common Earth Company, The Flow Initiative, Screen NJ, and more, this summit weaves together grassroots organizing, ancestral wisdom, and public health strategy to uplift the reproductive justice movement in our communities.
Over the course of the summit, we will dive into conversations and workshops on menstrual health, fertility, pregnancy, postpartum care, womb trauma, abortion justice, menopause, and reproductive sovereignty. Grounded in culturally-rooted practices and community care, Our Flow, Our Power is a space to name our truths, honor our flows, and activate our collective strength.

How Remembrance of African Traditional Spirituality Can Help Diasporic Africans Take Charge of Our Futures
In a powerful collaboration between By The Ellemental LLC, IOIA Inc., and Ifa Otito Ile Aye Temple, Chief Erelu Awo and Iya Esukemi Ifawumi engaged in a profound discussion on the importance of identity reclamation and ancestral remembrance. This dialogue explored how reconnecting with African traditional spirituality can serve as a foundation for holistic healing, self-determination, and community empowerment among diasporic Africans.
Pum Pum Power: Everything Yoni is a transformative event created By The Ellemental as part of the By The Ellemental suite of events. Designed as a safe and open forum, this gathering invites Black and Brown women to share their personal experiences with reproductive health—breaking stigmas, fostering community, and reclaiming knowledge of their bodies. Through candid discussions on womb wellness, ancestral healing, and holistic care, Pum Pum Power empowers participants to take charge of their health with support, wisdom, and love.

Sacral Werk
Sacral Werk is a powerful movement-based event created By The Ellemental, designed to help Black and Brown women heal womb trauma through the art of dance. Rooted in the rhythms of Caribbean music and dance styles, this immersive experience encourages participants to reconnect with their bodies, release stored emotions, and reclaim their sensuality. Through intentional movement and community support, Sacral Werk offers a sacred space for exploration, healing, and empowerment.
